The coffee bagasse cup is the most environmentally friendly cup in our collection. They are suitable for both hot and cold drinks, with a natural color and a paper-like texture. These coffee bagasse cups are an excellent eco-friendly alternative to polystyrene, plastic, or paper. They are made from natural ingredients rather than petroleum-based plastics. The cups are made from recycled raw materials rather than native wood pulp, just like the plastic lining of disposable paper cups, which is necessary for water resistance. We recommend using cup holders for hot drinks. Drinks can be served in a compostable PLA plastic lid, with or without a sipping hole.

Bagasse is a by-product of sugar production. Bagasse is the fiber left over after extracting juice from sugarcane. The remaining fibers are pressed into shape in a process of high temperature and pressure that uses much less energy than wood pulp, which is used in paper products. As it is a waste by-product, it does not require additional arable land and has no impact on forest areas. Coffee bagasse cups are biodegradable for up to 90 days in commercial composting facilities. These 100 percent compostable bowls will degrade back to organic compost material, which can then be used for fertilizer.

Save the environment by using coffee bagasse cups
Coffee bagasse cups are thicker and stiffer than traditional paper cups. They have ideal thermal properties for hot, wet or oily foods. You can even microwave it for 2-3 minutes. Microwave ovens are safe and refrigerable and can be used for hot and cold items. Our coffee bagasse cups meet food contact standards and are gluten-free. The cups are made from bagasse, not grain that stores proteins and allergens.
Choose to use these coffee bagasse cups to protect the environment and the planet. The cups, made from sugarcane fiber and free of artificial dyes and colours, are an environmentally friendly alternative to styrofoam and plastics. Compost can be done in an industrial facility, not in the backyard. Sugar cane is one of the best materials for dealing with high temperatures. So you can mix and match all your foods! When used to protect the environment, cold and hot food can be safely stored. Not just for cooked food, these cups can also be used to hold your ingredients, spices and other items. They are resistant to oil and light cutting.
Note: Storing liquids for long periods of time may over-saturate the container. To provide additional protection when storing food, we recommend lining the bottom of containers with foil to prevent leakage or breakage at the bottom.
